Experience Chehalis hosts the annual summer celebration, ChehalisFest, each year on the last Saturday of July. This event offers activities for kids and families, car fanatics and folks of all ages throughout the day. Downtown Chehalis will be buzzing with summer fun! Shops and boutiques will offer incredible discounts and sidewalk sales, enjoy live bands all day, games, kids’ zone, the annual ChehalisFest Car Show, vendor fair and more.
Blueberry Pancake Breakfast
Start ChehalisFest off with fluffy blueberry pancakes served with a side of local history.  The Lewis County Historical Museum hosts this annual tradition from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Breakfast is $7 and kids 7 and under eat free! After breakfast, enjoy a walk through the museum — admission is free all day!

Scavenger Hunt
We’ve got games to play! Join the Family Scavenger Hunt and seek out the outdoor locations throughout Chehalis. With each location visited, you’ll earn an entry into a drawing for $200 in local gift cards! At many locations you will also earn coupons and free swag fro local businesses!Â
The game is free to play and it’s all accomplished by scanning QR codes with your mobile phone. (Hint: start the hunt at the mural next to Market Street Bakery).

Annual ChehalisFest
Car Show
Roaring engines and gleaming chrome take center stage at the annual ChehalisFest Car Show hosted by Garbe’s Bar & Grill. Early registration starts at 7 a.m. The car show kicks off at 9 a.m. and wards are announced at 3 p.m. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Chehalis, the Veterans Memorial Museum, and Experience Chehalis. Listen to live music, performing near the car show all day and adults in the group can enjoy a cool beverage at Garbe’s beer garden. First 150 cars receive a goodie bag full of great local swag!
Selfie Row
Gather up and strike a pose! Selfie stations will line Boistfort Street offering the perfect backdrop for capturing fun and Instagram-worthy moments. These new additions will add an extra element of fun and help you create lasting memories to mark the occasion!
Live Music & Beer Garden
Enjoy a perfect summer combination of live music and a beer garden at ChehalisFest. Quench your thirst and listen to bands all day. The 2023 line-up includes Hogue & Moore, Chris Guenther, and Jeremiah. Bring your friends, tap your feet, and raise your glass to summer! As the afternoon wraps, the music moves insides Garbe’s with music by Monty Ray.
Sidewalk Sales
Local downtown businesses celebrate CheahalisFest with special sales and in-store events. From wine tasting and drink specials to special deals and giveaways, this is the perfect chance to explore and support local businesses while finding special treasures to take home. So come prepared to shop ’til you drop!
Vendor Fair
The vendor fair presented by Gemini Events at ChehalisFest brings together local small businesses, artisans, and entrepreneurs, offering unique products and services. From handcrafted goods and artwork to gourmet treats, clothing, and home decor, there’s something for every visitor’s interest.
